Sergio Bachelet
Born in Rome in 1994, he earned his BA in Electronic Music in Rome and his Master’s Degree in Film Music in Bologna, both with honours. He collaborated (2018-2020) with Gilles Alonzo, whom he first met at CNSMD Lyon, and contributed to the soundtrack of award-winning films within M. Biscarini’s “Modulab” studio, including “Volevo nascondermi” (2020). Back to Rome, he is active within the BNC music group and teaches courses at the Saint Louis College of Music. He composed the music soundtrack for several shorts and documentaries, including “Zombie” (2020), directed by Giorgio Diritti; “L’avversario”(2021), directed by Federico Russotto, which was granted the prize for the best musical composition at the “Festival Creuza De Mà – Musica per Cinema”, and recently shortlisted among the finalists of the 2022 Student Academy Awards; and “Reginetta” (2022), also directed by F. Russotto, which was granted the Best Technical Contribution Award by the International Film Critics’ Week, an autonomous parallel section of the Venice Film Festival.
